Farmers Insurance-Portland HQ is seeking a talented and driven Insurance Sales Agent to join our team of professionals in Portland Metro.

In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with our District sales team to identify opportunities for new customers, develop sales strategies, and promote our comprehensive insurance products and services, including auto, home, business, and life insurance.

As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will use your time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills to achieve sales goals and grow your business.


About the Position:
Meet and exceed new business production goals and objectives as established.
Solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
Generate insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
Participate in training classes to hone your skills.
Attend Networking and community events to build relationships with the public.
Learn day-to-day skills of being a small business owner.

Qualifications:
Property and Casualty licensed (preferred)
Comfortable dealing with a high volume of outbound and inbound phone activity.
Successful in meeting sales goals (2-3 years of sales experience preferred)
Excellent communication skills-written, verbal, and listening.
Goal-oriented
Competitive
Able to complete and pass a background check.

$60, $175,000.00 per year
