Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fleet Mechanic to perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on our company fleet vehicles. The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company fleet vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues with vehicles, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Conduct safety inspections on vehicles to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize vehicle availability.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of vehicle maintenance activities.
- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment or automotive repair, with a focus on fleet maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines, hydraulic systems, and air brake systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
The Fleet Mechanic will work in a shop environment, with exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
CompensationThe Atlanta Braves offers a competitive salary range of $32.00 to $33.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
