Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Master Center for Addiction Medicine. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive outpatient addiction medicine treatment to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist medical providers in taking patient histories and verifying medications and ROS
  • Check and document patient vital signs
  • Conduct patient bloodwork
  • Communicate effectively with medical providers and recovery coaches
  • Work with recovery coaches to collect, document, and report Urinary Drug Screen and ETOH breathalyzer/mouth swabs
  • Assist coaches in documenting patient PHI into electronic medical record
  • Additional responsibilities may include checking patients in and out, completing paperwork, and other Front Desk duties

Requirements

  • Medical Assistant Certification or graduation from accredited program preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
  • Experience with bloodwork and injections
  • Experience providing direct patient care
  • Two years' experience as a Medical Assistant highly preferred
