**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Operations Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the Administration/Operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization by working on various projects and initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Completing account management processing for our global Windows Active Directory domain
• Participating in and providing administrative support for application and hardware migration projects
• Supporting the Windows printing environment and evaluating opportunities for process improvement via automation and scripting
• Providing supplemental assistance to our Information Services Resource Center
• Collaborating with global IT team members and groups to monitor the IT help desk system and serve as the first tier for processing administrative requests
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Currently be enrolled in a 2 or 4-year program working towards a BS/BA in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to develop adaptive, creative solutions for difficult problems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and PowerShell technologies
• Ability to work 25-30 hours during the academic year and full-time during holiday and semester breaks
