Job Summary
As an Automated Systems Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating automated manufacturing systems and associated equipment. You will perform routine repair activities using specific repair and maintenance techniques and practices. You will also assist outside vendors or contractors to maintain, repair, or upgrade equipment. Additionally, you will coordinate required maintenance for all machines within assigned areas and utilize advanced troubleshooting experience and techniques to provide support to fellow ASTs. You will ensure proper safety procedures are in use at all times and have a full understanding of computer-controlled machine programming, including working knowledge of PLC and in-depth understanding of programmable controllers.

Qualifications
An Associate's degree in Automated Manufacturing Systems Technology or equivalent work experience is required. You must have 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with PLC interface/programming. Advanced software/hardware skills are also required. Strong electro-mechanical skills and complete NFPA 70E Training and certification are preferred. NOCTI evaluation of 70 or higher is also required. Preventative machine maintenance skills and Visual Basic knowledge are a plus.
