Job Summary

CCRES, Educational & Behavioral Health Services is seeking a skilled Behavior Consultant to join our interdisciplinary clinical team. As a Behavior Consultant, you will work with children diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with behavioral and mental health disorders.
  • Provide behavioral consultation to families and schools to promote positive behavioral change.
  • Train Behavior Health Technicians on therapeutic interventions and strategies.
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Build and maintain a caseload of clients, working with families and schools to promote positive outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field.
  • PA License in one of the following: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Social Worker, Behavior Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
  • At least 12 credits in ABA from a college/university and 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA, or 1 year of full-time experience in the provision of ABA under the supervision of a BCBA or similar certification and 40 hours of training in ABA.

  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance.
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance.
  • FBI Department of Human Service background clearance.
  • TB screening.
  • Professional Liability Insurance.
  • PA Licensed Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Social Worker, Behavior Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
