As a Licensed Behavior Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing clinical supervision to BHT or RBT workers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct FBAs, VB MAPP, AFLS, and ABLLS-R assessments.
  • Develop treatment plans based on FBA findings using evidence-based practices.
  • Provide clinical supervision to BHT or RBT workers.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and programs.
  • Collect data during sessions.
  • Analyze data to adapt and adjust programming.
  • Provide support to parents, teachers, and community officials.
  • Implement consequences related to appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
  • Establish coordination of communication with other supporting agencies.

Qualifications:

  • BACB Certification in good standing.
  • Behavior Specialist License is required.
  • Master's Degree in a mental health field and one year of documented paid experience working with children, adolescents, or youth.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Experience:

  • Relevant: 1 year (Required).

Certifications and Licenses:

  • BCBA (Preferred).
  • Must have one of the following licenses: BSL, LSW, LCSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time.

Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34, and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR Verification and an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
