Low Voltage Systems Designer

LVI Associates is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Systems Designer to join our innovative team in Denver, Colorado. This role offers the flexibility to work from home two days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop detailed system designs, including layouts, specifications, and documentation to support installation and implementation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure designs are accurately executed and meet client expectations.
  • Conduct site assessments and create tailored solutions based on the unique needs of each project.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical reports and system documentation.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in low voltage system design.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing low voltage systems.
  • Expertise in structured cabling, audio-visual systems, security systems, and telecommunications.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
