Expert Staffing West is in search of a Logistics Supervisor. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping department.
Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support management in implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics sector.
- Develop and provide clear written and verbal instructions necessary for shipping operations.
- Comprehend and actively work towards achieving company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee the entire relationship with carriers, including obtaining freight quotes, identifying reliable transporters, managing claims, and scheduling shipments.
- Promote the principles of situational leadership and assist in the transition to this leadership style.
