Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Oversee the overall operations of the acute-care facility, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care services.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with system management to develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic plans that align with the hospital's mission and goals.
- Leadership Development: Provide guidance and support to hospital managers, directors, and officers to foster a culture of excellence and encourage active participation in decision-making.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the hospital meets necessary regulatory and compliance approvals and quality accreditations, working closely with the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Physician Relations: Partner with physicians to develop and maintain strong relationships, driving recruitment and retention efforts.
- Revenue Growth: Assist in planning new services that generate additional revenue streams, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment that encourages the recruitment and retention of qualified hospital employees.
- Cost Management: Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Nursing Officer to identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement data-driven solutions.
- Community Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and stakeholders, promoting the hospital's mission and services.
- Performance Improvement: Analyze areas for improvement and lead organization-wide performance improvement activities.
- Representation: Represent the hospital at various meetings, including medical staff, hospital board of directors, and community meetings.
- Education: Master's degree in hospital administration and/or business administration.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated successful leadership in a healthcare facility, with a proven track record of building relationships, growing revenue, and meeting regulatory requirements.
