We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Behavioral Health Associates. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing behavior-analytic interventions to support students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behavior-analytic interventions to reduce problem behavior and remediate skill deficits.
- Conduct continuous and discontinuous measurement procedures to assess student behavior.
- Develop and implement written behavior reduction plans to address challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support services to students.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student behavior and progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
- Registered Behavior Technician certification required; willingness to obtain and maintain certification.
- Current clearances, including child abuse and FBI clearances, and a criminal background check.
- Full-time, academic year (10-month) position.
