Science Educator

Behavioral Health Associates is seeking a qualified Science Educator to join our team. As a Science Educator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program in an elementary or secondary learning environment.

• Develop and implement lesson plans and tests that align with established procedures.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Use technology to support and differentiate instruction.
• Manage student behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Provide feedback on student work and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
• Participate in program, school, and district meetings.
• Communicate with students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and needs.

• Bachelor's degree in science education or related field.
• Pennsylvania certification or private certification in teaching.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with others.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Basic computer literacy.
