New England Homes For The Deaf is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. This rewarding role will involve providing expert care and support to our residents, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Evaluating the occupational needs and abilities of patients through thorough assessments.
- Providing personalized therapy sessions to improve occupational skills and abilities.
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of professional therapy principles and practices, with a focus on geriatric care.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and electronic health record documentation systems.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - 80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, we also provide:
