About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our U-Haul team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing personalized support and guidance.
  • Operate U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
  • Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Answer customer questions and educate them on products and services, promoting a positive and supportive experience.
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental, ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring, demonstrating expertise and attention to detail.
  • Fulfill propane and drive a forklift, showcasing versatility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
