Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team at SEEK Careers Staffing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control processes and a keen eye for identifying defects or deviations in our products.
- Perform regular inspections and tests on incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize various measuring and testing equipment to conduct thorough quality control checks, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Document and report any deviations or defects found during inspections, providing detailed feedback to production teams for corrective actions.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify cosmetic defects or imperfections in the final products, ensuring they meet the highest aesthetic standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, participating in root cause analysis and suggesting process improvements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols, working closely with the Quality Control Manager.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality control activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Aid in the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment, ensuring their accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on industry standards, new testing methods, and emerging quality control techniques.
- Uphold a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in quality control are a plus.
- Proven experience as a QC Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment. and MUST have experience operating CMM.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Proficient in using measuring and testing equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address quality issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with quality control software and documentation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
