Lead Computer Vision Scientist at Amazon

Job DescriptionIn this role, you will provide technical leadership and vision for our Computer Vision team, developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Science, and Engineering, to design and deliver scalable and efficient computer vision solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead strategic initiatives in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and related areas.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to design, develop, and deploy computer vision solutions.
- Conduct independent research and development work on advanced computer vision components.
- Mentor and manage senior scientists and engineers.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical and technical audiences.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, Python.
- Experience with algorithm design, product development, and real-world data sets.
- Excellent business judgment and communication skills.
