Design and Develop Scalable Traffic Management Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon, focusing on the development of in-house Service Mesh for centralized traffic management and SOA policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust architecture patterns and engineering best practices for scalable traffic management solutions.
  • Develop features like security, authentication, authorization, load balancing, throttling, routing, and more for our Service Mesh.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements for traffic management solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Programming expertise in Golang and Java.
  • Leading design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
  • Mentorship experience as a tech lead or leading an engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
