Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview: Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The SLP will play a crucial role in providing speech and language services to our students, ensuring they receive the support needed to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs.
  • Speech and Language Therapy: Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to school staff on speech and language development.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure and Certification: Pennsylvania state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and Certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education for Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of IDEA and state and federal regulations governing special education, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
