Position Summary

Are you equipped with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in Multi-Family or Residential settings, along with at least 1 year in a leadership role? As the Facilities Maintenance Lead, you will be tasked with supervising maintenance and grounds teams, managing maintenance and preventative upkeep requirements, liaising with service providers, preparing units for turnover, addressing service requests, and conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems. A valid HVAC Certification is MANDATORY for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise maintenance and grounds staff.
  • Manage ongoing maintenance tasks, including preventative upkeep and repairs.
  • Coordinate with vendors for contracted services, including capital improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare units for turnover.
  • Perform general maintenance duties as required.
  • Be available for on-call duties; respond to after-hours emergencies.
  • Handle snow removal and maintain grounds, including shared spaces.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
  • Complete work orders for service requests, including plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical work.
Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive understanding of on-site maintenance management.
  • 4-5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family or residential properties, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Thorough knowledge of unit turnover processes, including light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • HVAC certification is highly desirable.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automotive insurance; ability to travel to various properties as needed.
  • Must have a basic set of tools.
  • Demonstrate responsibility and reliability.
  • Exhibit a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
