Job Summary

Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Biomedical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that medical equipment is well-maintained, properly configured, and safely functional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair medical devices used for the delivery of healthcare.
  • Types of devices include patient monitoring, ECG machines, ventilators, and other general and specialized medical devices.
  • Interact with clinical staff in the clinical setting to provide excellent customer service.
  • Enhance career by attending in-house and OEM training sessions.
Requirements
  • Associate in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics Technology, or completion of DoD BMET training or equivalent technical or engineering education.
  • 2-5 years working in a technical (industry/medical/hospital) setting.
  • Ability to use test equipment and hand tools.
  • Familiarity with MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CBET certification.
  • Associates of Art or better in Engineering or related field.
Work Environment

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
