JOB SUMMARY
This position involves a structured work schedule with responsibilities centered around the inspection, testing, cleaning, and labeling of surplus industrial PLC items at the point of sale.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Confirming part numbers for all processed units.
· Conducting thorough inspections, cleaning, and testing of all items.
· Utilizing shop tools and testing equipment effectively.
· Performing power and diagnostic tests on all units.
· Engaging in programming tasks as required.
· Upholding quality methods, processes, and procedures.
· Contributing to the enhancement of the final product's quality.
· Assisting in the development of capabilities.
· Carrying out occasional light repairs.
· Processing pre-evaluation units to ensure they are 'Ready to Sell' (RTS).
· Ensuring proper handling and labeling of all units.
· Estimating parts and labor costs for repairs.
· Managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks.
· Utilizing IT systems appropriately.
· Providing personal hand and power tools.
· Demonstrating willingness to assist with products outside of assigned department to address customer needs.
Note: Responsibilities may be adjusted as necessary, and additional tasks may be assigned.
PRODUCTION METRICS
Performance metrics are established and monitored through a Technician Level Program.
· Technician levels at Radwell International are based on output performance, with minimum dollar production requirements defined for each level.
· The actual dollars produced per hour is calculated using gross dollars produced before parts costs divided by total hours worked.
It is crucial to maintain the specified gross dollars produced per hour throughout the year.

QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in troubleshooting and soldering components is essential, along with the ability to use hand and power tools.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.- One to three years of technical school diploma or relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of technical or industrial products is advantageous.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Occasional activities may include sitting, reaching overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
· Frequent walking is required.
· Continuous standing and repetitive hand motions are necessary.
· Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Eligibility for commission is available after the successful completion of an introductory period.
EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
· An introductory review will be conducted approximately 80 days after employment to assess continuation of employment.
· Monthly evaluations will consider the number of units shipped, repairs completed, and warranties resolved.
· Annual reviews will include the same metrics as monthly evaluations, along with strengths, areas for improvement, and goals for the upcoming year.
