About the Position:
Howard & Howard Attorneys, PLLC is a leading law firm seeking an experienced Office Services Assistant to support our staff and attorneys in our Royal Oak, MI office.
The successful candidate will possess at least 2 years of experience in administrative duties, including customer service, mail delivery, facsimile transmission, reproduction, messenger services, office maintenance, IT support, and conference room setup. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Support: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Inter-Office Mail Deliveries and Pick-ups: Ensure timely and efficient delivery and pick-up of mail and packages.
- Facsimile Transmission and Receipt: Send and receive faxes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reproduction - Copy and Scanning Requests: Process copying, scanning, and other document-related tasks.
- Messenger/Court Runs: Perform messenger and court run duties as needed.
- Stocking and Maintaining Copy Stations and Supply Room: Maintain stock levels and ensure supply rooms are organized and well-stocked.
- Answer Phone and Direct Calls: Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Minor Office Maintenance: Perform minor office maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and organization.
- Light IT Support: Provide basic technical support for office equipment and software.
- Setup and Breakdown of Conference Rooms: Set up and break down conference rooms for meetings and events.
- Shipping and Receiving: Receive and process incoming shipments, and prepare outgoing packages.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Required: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential for this role.
- Adaptable to Change: The ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities is critical for success in this position.
- Ability to Multi-Task: Strong multi-tasking skills are necessary for this role, as you will be responsible for multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position, as you will be interacting with clients, colleagues, and vendors on a daily basis.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook is required for this position.
This position requires intermittent physical activity, including bending, reaching, lifting, and moving (up to 40 lbs), and prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
