Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registrar to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a Registrar, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate registration of patients, as well as verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary signatures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview patients to obtain all necessary account information, including demographic and insurance details.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-certification/authorization as needed.
  • Calculate and collect patient liability amounts.
  • Ensure that all necessary signatures are obtained for treatments and services.
  • Process patient charts according to established productivity standards.
Requirements
  • 1 year of related experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
