Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to lead the development of conveyor controls systems for our automotive manufacturing clients.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and integrating controls systems for conveyors, as well as strong leadership skills to guide a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new controls systems for conveyor lines, ensuring efficiency and quality
  • Lead a team of engineers in the design, build, and integration of controls systems
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
  • Maintain and improve existing controls systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in conveyor controls design and commissioning
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior engineers
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Knowledge of national electrical codes and controls standards (NEC, NFPA, etc.)
  • Familiarity with PLC programming (Rockwell-Allen Bradley), HMI programming (Rockwell-Allen Bradley, Siemens), and variable speed drives
