Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Reliability Specialist to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rocket engine testing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance of ground systems and facilities
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve complex issues and anomalies
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on maintenance and repair procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance and operations in a manufacturing or operational environment
  • 3+ years of demonstrated technical expertise in the operation or maintenance of aerospace, marine, automotive, or ground support systems
  • Previous experience with pumps and related systems
  • Strong planning, organization, and coordination skills in a real-time operations environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to earn trust and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma processes and implementation
  • Familiarity with typical aerospace pressure systems and structure manufacturing technologies
