Engine Instrumentation Specialist

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As an Engine Instrumentation Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our spacecraft systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement instrumentation systems for rocket engines and spacecraft
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate instrumentation systems with propulsion and control systems
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of instrumentation systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures for instrumentation systems
  • Work closely with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation-related issues

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in electronics, instrumentation, or a related field
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting low-voltage systems, 4-20mA signals, and thermocouples
  • Experience with data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and general electronics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
