Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team at Toyota South Atlanta. As a key member of our collision repair team, you will be responsible for repairing damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove and replace damaged body panels, fenders, and grills using hand tools and power tools.
  • Repair and straighten bent automobile frames using a pneumatic frame-straightening machine.
  • Fill depressions with body filler and sand repaired surfaces to a high finish.
  • Paint and refinish repaired surfaces using a paint spray gun and sander.
  • Aim headlights, align wheels, and bleed hydraulic brake systems.
  • Repair or replace defective mechanical parts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively and present information to customers, insurance representatives, and other employees.
  • Current, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is usually loud.
