Parts Advisor

- Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
- Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Answer phone calls and provide price quotes and other information as requested.
- Pull and fills orders from stock.
- Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Notify the service advisor and/or the customer when ordered parts have been received.
- Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
- Ensure that all external charge sales are signed by the customer and all customers receive a copy of the invoice.
- Issue credit for any parts returned and ensure the original invoice is available to verify purchase and pricing.
- Replenish assigned inventory daily.
- Participate with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.

What we expect:
- Maintain a valid Georgia driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Submit to a background and drug screen
- Previous experience working with customers
- Be able to multitask with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication & computer skills
- Have the ability to lift up to 70 pounds by yourself
- Previous work experience in a dealership parts department or at a parts store is a plus
Working Environment & Physical Demands
Duties are performed throughout the dealer premises, both indoors and outdoors. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to move vehicles. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts will include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
