Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Position

Job Summary:

Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to fill a Labor and Delivery position. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and use medical equipment as needed to provide safe and effective patient care.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, track progress, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in Labor and Delivery nursing.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
