Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care to patients and their families.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in Labor and Delivery care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting open communication, respect, and empathy among colleagues.
  • Document patient care and outcomes accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon
  • 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
