Providence RN is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the healthcare team.
  • Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Within 90 days of hire: National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification.
  • 1 year of nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current National Certification in area of specialty.
