POSITION DETAILS

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience, starting at $35.00/hour.

Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a mechanic, you will be responsible for the upkeep, servicing, and repair of our fleet and equipment, ensuring smooth operations. Your primary objective is to reduce downtime and deliver high-quality repairs efficiently. You will conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery, identify any current or potential issues, and execute necessary repairs and maintenance. While working on various equipment, including backhoes, excavators, and trucks, you will maintain detailed records of services performed and parts utilized.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience as a mechanic with a focus on fleet vehicles and heavy machinery
  • Proficient in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical problems
  • Possess tools necessary for heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
  • Current DOT medical certification or the ability to obtain one
  • Willingness to travel within a specified radius

Experience in welding is preferred, and holding a CDL is advantageous.
