Fleet Mechanic

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Technician - Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Groundhog Landscaping Inc. As a key member of our grounds maintenance and construction services team, you will be responsible for performing top-quality mechanical repairs and maintenance services to ensure our machinery is always ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the team to service heavy equipment, including loaders, skid steers, low-bed trailers, dump trucks, and medium-duty trucks
- Inspect machinery, diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, and perform necessary services
- Manage parts inventory, maintain service records, and contribute to efficient business operations

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in fleet trucks and heavy equipment
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
