The Community Support Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing, training, and coordinating support services for adults facing severe and persistent mental health challenges. This position involves supervising staff and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive community and wrap-around support services.

Key responsibilities include facilitating team meetings and providing individual supervision that fosters both client and staff development. The supervisor actively engages in continuous quality improvement initiatives and cultivates a positive team environment.

Sound judgment and initiative are essential in maintaining the integrity of services in alignment with Compass Health Network's mission and values.

The Community Support Services Supervisor will also share administrative on-call duties to guarantee that clients receive the necessary clinical and support services for successful community living.

This is a full-time position with benefits.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Possesses a thorough understanding of Community Support Standards and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Ensures staff comprehension of and compliance with the Corporate Compliance plan and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborates with the Clinical Director to ensure the program meets all licensing and certification requirements.
  • Guarantees safe and reliable transportation services by enforcing adherence to the transportation manual.
  • Oversees the timely completion of clinical assessments and associated documentation.
  • Ensures timely quarterly reviews of recovery plans.
  • Establishes effective working relationships with clients and other stakeholders involved in client care.
  • Builds rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients, demonstrating respect and compassion.
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration with external agencies to ensure continuity of care.
  • Assists clients in maintaining community funding through up-to-date Medicaid re-certifications and thorough SSI/SSDI applications.
  • Maintains oversight of clinical records, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely completion of necessary documentation.
  • Engages in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities, completing assigned tasks and submitting reports as required.
  • Contributes to the development and execution of the annual strategic and CQI plans.
  • Monitors billing cycles and revenue budgets to ensure financial responsibility.

  • Completes all tasks related to the recruitment and onboarding of new staff, ensuring personnel files are accurate and up to date.
  • Conducts annual employee evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Provides staff with clear direction, support, and role definition.
  • Promotes teamwork and a proactive atmosphere within the organization.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of legal and civil rights issues relevant to the work environment.
  • Conducts activities with cultural competence.
  • Keeps supervisors informed through regular meetings and updates on client issues.
  • Welcomes constructive feedback and actively seeks self-improvement opportunities.
  • Participates in in-service training and company meetings.
  • Attends external training to address identified needs.
  • Maintains certifications in CPR, First Aid, and CPI.
  • Demonstrates understanding of psychotropic medications.
  • Advocates for holistic, person-centered care, ensuring services focus on clients' overall health and wellness.
  • Represents Compass Health Network positively and professionally, adhering to workplace expectations.
  • Exhibits efficiency, flexibility, and attention to detail.
