Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations Support: Provide assistance to employees and management on employee relations-related matters, including analyzing data, investigating complaints, and responding to inquiries.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve medium to highly complex employee relations matters by conducting thorough fact-finding and providing independent counseling and viable solutions to business leaders and employees.
- Performance Management: Resolve performance issues that impact overall departmental performance.
- Employee Engagement: Resolve business unit conduct and employee engagement issues.
- Alternate Placement Process: Support the alternate placement process.
- HR Change Management: Deliver new HR change management initiatives, programs, and processes.
- Policy Interpretation: Assist in the interpretation of human resources policies and procedures.
- Tracking and Reporting: Maintain an electronic employee relations tracking system.
- Special Projects: Participate in special projects and other related duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of progressive HR or employee/labor relations experience.
- Investigative Experience: A minimum of two years of investigative experience.
- Travel: Must be able to travel to other facilities.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain good working relationships and effectively interact with all levels of company staff and external parties.
- Conflict Resolution Skills: Proven ability to mediate and facilitate conflict resolution across diverse clients in order to maximize organizational effectiveness.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated strengths in listening, fact-finding, exploratory skills, and problem-solving. Ability to uncover additional information in an effort to bring situations to resolution.
- Analytical Skills: Must possess strong analytical skills to identify existing and potential issues and concerns, as well as the ability to exercise good judgment and arrive at sound conclusions.
- Discretion and Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion, as well as maintain confidentiality.
- Coaching and Consulting: Demonstrated ability to coach and consult at various levels within the organization.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of the PeopleSoft system. Certification in Human Resources. Working knowledge of Livelink.
