Pharmacy Technician Job Description

Comprehensive Pharmacy Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Dayton Children's Hospital - Retail Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with providers and patients to improve continuity of care across the system
  • Consult with patients to provide specialty pharmacy services through the specialty pharmacy
  • Act as a liaison between the specialty pharmacy, providers, and patients
  • Assist with data entry, financial assistance, prior authorizations, and updating clinical information
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • Experience in specialty or outpatient pharmacy, and clinical pharmacy support for clinical programs preferred
  • Proficient computer skills using pharmacy systems and Microsoft applications
