Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting physical examinations, collecting clinical data, and ordering medical laboratory tests. They will also diagnose medical conditions, administer medications, and perform minor surgery.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply knowledge of anatomy, principles of neurology, microbiology, physiology, psychology, and pharmacology to provide patient care.
- Conduct patient assessments, complete physical examinations, and collect clinical data.
- Order and interpret medical laboratory test results, diagnose medical conditions, and administer medications.
- Perform minor surgery and provide patient education on health and wellness.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Master's degree in a Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing patient care in a hospital setting. They will be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
