Job Summary

**Job Title:** Cardiovascular Technologist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the EPS Lab and patient for EPS/Pacing procedures, gathering and compiling information during the procedure using computer-generated data, and assisting the nurse when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

**Assist in Diagnostic and Interventional Procedures:** Assist the physician and coworkers in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a team environment. If applicable, monitor and oversee the proper use of radiation.

Requirements

**Experience:**
  • Required: 1-3 years of experience in Radiology or a Procedural area.
  • Preferred: 1-3 years of prior EPS or Cath Lab experience. EKG interpretation and scrub experience.


**Education:**
  • Required: Graduation from an accredited 2-year Radiological or Cardiovascular Program or RCIS or RCES.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree.


**License and Credentials:**
  • Required: Valid N.J. Radiology Technologist License ARRT, if applicable.
  • Preferred: ARRT (CV), CVT, or RCIS.


**Skills:**
  • Required: BLS.
  • Preferred: ACLS, strong communication skills, both verbal and written.


Work Environment

**Hours:** 80 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

**Required Skills:**
  • Amer Reg Radiology Tech.
  • Radiology Technologist.


**Preferred Skills:**
  • Cardiovascular Tech.
  • Reg Cardio Invasive Spec.
