Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

ChristianityCare is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Inova Health System. As a key member of our Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Document patient clinical history and technologist impressions of images obtained on exam request forms.
  • Assist cardiologists with obtaining images and equipment operation during transesophageal echocardiography.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to cardiac ultrasound students and Cardiology Fellows during their practice performance at Inova Health System.
  • Rotate on-call schedule covering off-hours and weekend rotation.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a medical diagnostic ultrasound program or other allied health profession.
  • Registry-eligible and must sit for registry and become RDCS/RCS within first year of employment or within first year of eligibility.
  • CPR certification.
