Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multifamily Training Manager to join our team at Grubb Properties. As a key member of our operations support team, you will be responsible for providing hands-on training and support to our multifamily properties, developing and updating training materials, and leading our Mentor Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive training and support to multifamily properties, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Develop and update training materials, manuals, and procedures to ensure they are current, relevant, and effective.
  • Lead our Mentor Program, scheduling and training mentors to ensure they are equipped to support and guide our team members.
  • Conduct quarterly audits to ensure adherence to our standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Run and communicate reports on training programs and events, providing insights and recommendations for future development.
  • Manage training records and maintain the training department's event calendar, ensuring all necessary information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Troubleshoot and support software like Yardi CRM, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Serve as the Administrator for Grubb University, overseeing the development and delivery of training programs and resources.
  • Develop and implement new strategies for the training team, driving innovation and excellence in our training programs.
  • Ensure our brand standards are communicated, followed, and upheld across the portfolio, maintaining a consistent and high-quality experience for our residents and team members.
  • Complete and manage expense reports for the training department, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Implement new support software across the portfolio, ensuring a seamless transition and optimal performance.
  • Train and ensure understanding and adherence to all Grubb Properties and multifamily policies and procedures, ensuring a culture of compliance and excellence.
  • Assist the Vice President of Operations Support with various tasks, providing support and expertise as needed.
Work Environment

This role will work primarily in an office setting, with frequent travel to area properties and new development sites. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, using technology to support training and operations, and communicating effectively with team members at all levels.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in the multifamily industry, with a strong understanding of training and operations.
  • 3+ years of experience with Yardi, with a focus on training and support.
  • A high school diploma (college degree preferred), with a strong emphasis on business and operations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, and Photoshop, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of management, with a focus on building strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, with the ability to travel to area properties and new development sites.
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision, with a focus on independence and self-motivation.
