About the Job

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineering Project Manager to manage our site/civil services department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering projects, investigations, and preparation of plans.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, standards, and/or policies.
  • Maintain accurate records, notes, and other required documentation for assigned projects.
  • Assist other departments with engineering and technical support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college.
  • 6-12 years of experience.
  • PE License preferred.
  • Understanding of Civil Engineering as it pertains to Land Development.
  • Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations in New York or New Jersey.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D skills with the ability to design site layouts concept through completion.
  • Proficiency in grading and other site development related designs.
  • Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis including knowledge of hydrologic or hydraulic software (HydraFlow, HydroCAD, StormCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, of similar).
  • Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year.
