Job Title: Plating Operations Specialist

REMTEC INC is seeking a highly skilled Plating Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our chemical processing facilities.

Estimated Salary: $58,000 - $68,000 per year.

About the Role
  • We are looking for a skilled technical professional with experience in electrochemical processing, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities

As a key member of our Plating Operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Evaluating and troubleshooting production problems in chemical processing areas.
  2. Supporting continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen team actions, 5S coordination, mistake proofing, and value stream improvements to production flows.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates should possess:

  • An Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical (chemical or material science) or Electro-mechanical engineering; or equivalent technical or trade school; or 3 plus years of experience in a plating position.
  • 1-3 Years Relevant Experience preferably in electronics, microelectronics, PCB or plating industries.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with people.
