EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant Engineering field from an accredited institution.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
0-5 years of relevant Engineering experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist and support senior engineers in various projects.
- Conduct design evaluations and assess feasibility.
- Address technical challenges and oversee information flow during the design and construction phases of multiple concurrent projects.
- Create and compile engineering reports and associated documentation, including charts and graphs to present findings.
Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence. Capable of effectively communicating before clients or colleagues.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Competence in mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and the fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world scenarios.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional field visits to operational plants or construction sites may be required. This entails normal hearing, the ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, and maintain balance, as well as clear vision at various distances. Lifting up to 25 pounds may be necessary.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The typical work environment is an office setting with moderate noise levels. There may be occasions where the engineer is assigned to an operational plant or on-site office for project duration, which may involve exposure to outdoor weather, loud noise, and proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibrations, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles.
