Position Information:
The Mobile Care Services team handles over 19,500 ground transports annually, utilizing a fleet of 24 ground ambulances and operating type I, II, and III ambulances. The adult and pediatric specialty care teams provide medical transport 24 hours a day. As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will provide patient care and/or operate an ambulance as part of our critical and non-critical transport program. You will document BLS patient conditions and provide care as needed, within the scope of practice for an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic. You will also clean and maintain the ambulance and its equipment, and perform routine daily inspections and preventive maintenance.

Requirements:
1 year of clinical experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is preferred, as is 1 year of experience in emergency vehicle operations. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a certificate in Emergency Medical Science or an Associate's degree in Emergency Medical Science is also required. You must be licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or higher, and maintain vehicle operator insurability.

Work Schedule:
This is a 3-12 hour shift per week position, with hours from 1845-0715. Weekend and call requirements are as needed.
