Medical Laboratory Technician in North Carolina

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing qualitative and quantitative tests using various lab instruments and/or manual methods on blood, plasma, urine, CSF, stool, and/or body fluids following standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform qualitative and quantitative tests using various lab instruments and/or manual methods.
- Comply with all established standards and practices pertaining to test performance.
- Perform quality control procedures as needed and established by protocol.
- Identify abnormal patient results and take appropriate action.
- Communicate results to physicians or other authorized healthcare providers as may be required.
Requirements:
- ASCP certification (or equivalent)
- Associate Degree in Science (minimum)
- Previous lab experiences preferred but will accept new grads
