About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as an MDS Appeal and Chart Review Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our billing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Routine audits of facility PDPM groupers for appropriate billing.
  • Compile records to substantiate claims.
  • MDS Coding support as needed.
  • ADL Trainer as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Three years MDS experience with in-depth knowledge of RUG and PDPM Groupers.
  • Understanding of billing and HIPPS Codes.
  • Above average communication skills with ability to write appeal letters.
  • Independent with time management skills.
  • Matrix knowledge and good computer skills.
  • Detail Oriented.
