Patient Care Coordinator Role Summary

The Patient Care Coordinator is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from registration to discharge. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Medflex system to manage patient records, verify benefits, and load accurate patient and insurance information.
  • Conduct patient orientation, address patient concerns, and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Perform Medicare reviews, follow up on required information, and process requests for fits and labs.
  • Daily charting and preparation of next-day charts.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • 1 year of basic computer skills
  • Strong work ethic, including regular attendance
  • Exceptional patient service skills
  • Concise written communication skills

This is a fully onsite role in Akron, OH, with a salary range of $37,440 - $45,760 depending on experience.
