Specialty Clinical Programs Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Clinical Programs Pharmacist to join our team at Maxor. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a critical role in maximizing the strategic approach to specialty drug therapy optimization and specialty drug focused clinical programs.

Responsibilities- Understand and utilize clinical integrated platforms to drive clinical reporting, including proficiency in using clinical information systems and integrated platforms to collect, analyze, and report on patient data.
- Develop and execute specialty drug therapy optimization strategies, leveraging strong critical thinking skills to evaluate complex situations, identify potential problems, and devise effective solutions.
- Work independently and within a team setting, collaborating effectively with colleagues, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to achieve clinical and financial goals.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and contribute to the financial health of the organization, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource use.
- Analyze complex data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to inform decision-making, utilizing proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Launch clinical programs, developing, implementing, and managing programs from initial planning stages to execution, monitoring, and evaluation of program outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, with PharmD preferred.
- Licensed as RPh granted by appropriate state licensing and in good standing required.
- Board certification or certified specialty pharmacist certification preferred.
- 5 years related work experience required in specialty pharmacy, with demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical care, pharmacy systems, and design of clinical programs.
- Prior PBM experience desired, with experience working with oncology clinical programs or in an oncology clinic also desired.
