We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at the luxury hotel, the Inn at Biltmore. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture, as well as making beds and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Restock amenities and linens, and ensure that all guest rooms are fully equipped and ready for occupancy.
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Work collaboratively with other Housekeeping team members to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
- Participate in deep cleaning projects as required, and maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
- Previous experience in a similar custodial or housekeeping role is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow checklists, and communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Commitment to delivering world-class guest service and the ability to work successfully as part of a dynamic team.
- Ability to complete work in a systematic way, with attention to detail and the ability to perform essential job functions with consistent high quality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and under deadlines.
This position requires a physical exam at the Biltmore Clinic prior to starting work. An offer of employment is conditional upon the successful completion of this examination.
The successful candidate will be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, push and pull 75 pounds frequently, and climb stairs and ladders as needed. They will also be able to work in an environment with variable conditions and noise levels, and be exposed to fumes, dust, and chemicals.
