  • Perform comprehensive analysis of actual business performance against forecasts, delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct price volume mix assessments to pinpoint changes due to product mix or pricing, ensuring precise like-for-like comparisons.
  • Manage segmentation to guarantee that revenue is accurately classified and reported within the appropriate business segments.
  • Examine inventory levels to identify at-risk items, collaborating with business units to mitigate risks and reduce waste.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure that necessary reserves are established for inventory risks.
  • Establish robust controls around inventory risk management and promote accountability within the business operations team.

Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and the capability to handle complex data sets.
  • Experience in creating reporting tools, particularly in Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of business planning processes, variance analysis, and price volume mix analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in inventory risk management and the establishment of controls.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to convey complex data clearly and concisely to team members at all levels.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business planning, reporting, and analysis.
